I would like to try and grown vegetables, fruit, some herbs and maybe even a cuttings flower patch, but how do I know what will be successful? And how do I achieve a space that is both productive and functional, as well as relaxing and mentally soothing? Anneke and Ewa, both experienced gardeners will be in the Biodynamic garden to look at your questions in more depth . Workshop and film: All About Cheese
You feta believe it - this evening will be ripe with cheese knowledge, cheese demos, cheesy conversation, and a screening of cheesy documentary Shelf Life.
The evening starts with a cheesemaking demonstration from artisan cheesemaker, Kristen Allan will demonstrate a simple cheese for you to make at home. Labne, a staple in Middle Eastern cuisine, is a strained yoghurt cheese with a thick and creamy texture. Kristen will discuss how to use the leftover whey in cooking and baking and will also teach you how to make her delicious fermented fig leaf and plum, whey soda. Following the demonstration, indulge in a grazing plate curated by Kristen and our the cinema cafe manager, Cristina Rodrigues.

Shelf Life is a quirky and contemplative film which takes us on a global odyssey into the world of cheese, drawing parallels between the aging process of this beloved food and the human experience of growing old. You'll be introduced to a colorful cast of characters who share their unique perspectives on decay, dissolution and the art of crafting the perfect cheese.
